Freedom House, in partnership with INSM Foundation for Digital Rights, has added Iraq for the first time to its annual global report, which highlights Internet freedom in most countries of the world and the challenges facing this freedom. Below you will find the summary global report, followed by the detailed report on Internet freedom in Iraq, including the Kurdistan Region, for the year 2021, where Iraq ranked 41 out of 100 on the Internet Freedom Scale, and therefore Iraq falls within the classification of countries with Partly Free.
